Waxing is a mechanical hair removal method that removes unwanted hair together with the hair bulb from the hair follicle using adhesive, thermoplastic wax formulations.

In professional cosmetology, both soft wax (used with strips) and hard wax (stripless) techniques are used. The appropriate method is selected based on the treatment area, hair type, and the client's skin sensitivity.

During the procedure, warmed wax adheres closely to the hair shaft. Once it has partially hardened, it is removed with a quick, controlled motion against the direction of hair growth, allowing the hair to be extracted from the follicle together with the hair bulb.

The treatment provides long-lasting smooth skin, gently exfoliates the outermost layer of dead skin cells, gradually weakens the hair follicles, slows hair regrowth over time, and improves the overall appearance and softness of the skin with regular treatments.
