Skin Aging Analysis & Treatment Online Course

Skin aging is a complex, multi-stage biological process that involves changes occurring not only in the epidermis, but also in the dermis and deeper tissues. Over time, these changes lead to a gradual loss of firmness, elasticity, and volume, along with disruption of the skin’s structural balance. The process is not uniform and develops differently depending on the area of the face, skin type, and individual biological predispositions.

Skin aging results from the interaction of internal mechanisms such as decreased cellular activity, reduced regenerative capacity, protein glycation, and oxidative stress, as well as external factors—primarily UV radiation, lifestyle, diet, sleep, and environmental exposure. These changes occur simultaneously at multiple tissue levels and progress gradually over time.

This course focuses on a comprehensive understanding of the skin aging process, its pathogenesis, and the clinical manifestations observed in cosmetology practice. Structural, vascular, and pigmentation-related changes are discussed, along with the loss of facial volume and contour characteristic of mature skin. The training organizes the knowledge necessary for accurate skin assessment and the planning of anti-aging strategies in professional practice.
