Radiofrequency (RF) is a non-invasive technology that uses electromagnetic waves to deliver controlled thermal energy to the dermis, leading to fibroblast stimulation and collagen fiber remodeling. As a result, skin firmness improves, tissue density increases, and a visible lifting effect is achieved.

This lesson introduces the mechanisms of radiofrequency energy, principles of safe work with thermal energy, and proper selection of treatment parameters based on the treated area and therapeutic goals. Indications and contraindications, skin responses to RF, and options for combining radiofrequency with other cosmetology procedures are also discussed.
