Manual Skin Cleansing

Manual facial cleansing is a therapeutic treatment based on the manual extraction of comedones, milia, and other skin lesions, performed to improve overall skin condition, regulate sebaceous gland activity, and restore skin balance. The procedure allows for the removal of accumulated impurities, unclogging of sebaceous duct openings, and proper preparation of the skin for subsequent skincare stages.

This lesson introduces the principles of safe and effective manual cleansing, including identification of skin lesions, selection of appropriate techniques, and correct sequencing of treatment steps. Particular emphasis is placed on hygiene standards, aseptic practice, and proper post-treatment care.

• apply appropriate pre- and post-treatment products
• combine manual cleansing with other esthetic procedures to enhance treatment outcomes
• formulate post-treatment recommendations and develop an individualized home care plan
• integrate manual cleansing into daily professional esthetics practice
