Body anatomy and assessment form the foundation of working with body contouring and aesthetic concerns, as treatment outcomes depend on understanding tissue structure and the processes that influence their appearance and condition.

In this lesson, you learn how to work with the body based on its structure — exploring the skeletal system, muscular system, and the role of subcutaneous fat. You also understand the importance of the circulatory and lymphatic systems in relation to skin appearance and the tendency toward fluid retention.

You learn how to perform body assessment, analyze posture, and identify areas that require targeted work. You pay attention to tension patterns, asymmetries, and compensations that affect both the appearance and function of the tissues.

You work with tissue evaluation through touch — analyzing tension, structure, and mobility between tissue layers. You recognize areas where discomfort, heaviness, or stagnation may occur.

Based on this, you identify aesthetic concerns such as edema, circulation issues, excess adipose tissue, loss of firmness, fascial tension, and irregularities in skin structure.

The next stage is treatment qualification — determining indications, identifying contraindications, and adjusting treatment intensity to the condition of the tissues.

At the end, you learn how to plan therapy, select areas that require intervention, choose appropriate manual techniques, and establish the sequence of work across the tissues.

After this lesson, you are able to assess the body, identify concerns, and create a treatment plan tailored to tissue condition and therapeutic goals.
